Jaxson Kirkwood admits role in fatal Weston skatepark brawl | The Canberra Times

A grown man who fought with teenagers at a Canberra skatepark has admitted to his role in a brawl that ended with the stabbing death of an 18-year-old. Part-time warehouse worker Jaxson Dillon Kirkwood, 26, pleaded guilty in the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday to charges of common assault, affray and property damage. The victim of the first two counts was the 18-year-old man who was stabbed to death, allegedly by a 16-year-old boy, while the property damage charge related to a car the deceased had driven to the melee. Kirkwood, of Duffy, is one of nine people charged in connection with the September 2020 incident at the Weston skatepark.
